Why Communist Filmmaking?

The medium of film is littered with capitalists from Hollywood to Microbudget. This research project takes a radical approach to filmmaking and the art of cinema. Utilizing Marxist political economy, cultural criticism, Mark Fisher’s ideas of capitalist realism and acid communism, and more we will explore a radical alternative to capitalist filmmaking.

This project will forever be free to read although subscriptions are greatly appreciated so that I can continue to put time and energy into this project.
